Once again, it is our honor and privilege to serve
you. MILVETS would like to invite you to participate in the 2008
Columbus Veterans Day Parade. The parade will be held on Friday,
November 6, 2009. Formation of the parade starts at 10:00 A.M.
Step off for the celebration will be at 12:00 noon at Nationwide
Boulevard and High Street and the disbanding area is at Veterans
Memorial.
Since this is a regular workday, you should make
plans for parking in the vicinity of the Arena. There are parking
lots and garages available for a fee in the general vicinity.
Closer to the parade date, we expect to put more
information out on our website at
WWW.MILVETS.ORG. We have invited many celebrities and
organizations to this year’s parade. Details and confirmations
aren’t finalized at this time. But with the Mayor’s support and
backing, we expect to have a great parade again this year.
MILVETS would like to make it extra
special and memorable for the citizens of Central Ohio as we
recognize and honor all of our Veterans who have served and are
